Hebrews 2

Hebrews 2:1-4 gives the first of four warnings from the book of Hebrews. The greatest threat to the gospel is the lie that morality can bring life and peace apart from faith in Jesus. Hebrews 2 explains that Jesus became fully human, while also fully God, so He could taste death for everyone and also comfort people when they are tempted. He suffered and died, earning salvation for everyone who believes His sacrifice was enough to pay for their sin (Hebrews 2:18).
